In a surprising turn of events, Elon Musk, the former leader of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), has accused five organizations, including Troublemakers, Rise & Resist, and the Democratic Socialists of America, of orchestrating violent demonstrations against his company, Tesla. The tech innovator claims that these groups received financial support from ActBlue and the Open Society Foundation, which was established by George Soros.
For context, Open Society has asserted its innocence, as have the other leftist organizations implicated in these protests. Despite support from figures such as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Speaker Mike Johnson has called for inquiries into these protests, characterizing them as assaults on Musk’s initiatives to address fraud, waste, and corruption.
Elon Musk articulated his perspective on the situation, stating, “An investigation has identified 5 ActBlue-funded groups accountable for Tesla ‘protests’: Troublemakers, Disruption Project, Rise & Resist, Indivisible Project, and Democratic Socialists of America.”
Denying any connection, the Soros-funded Open Society Foundations asserted, “We do not direct, coordinate, or dictate the strategies or activities of the organizations we support. The Open Society Foundations endorse a wide array of nonprofit organizations that aim to enhance democracy and encourage nonviolent civic participation. Our grantees operate independently and are expected to comply fully with U.S. law.”
In support of an anti-Tesla demonstration, the Democratic Socialists of America stated, “Every Friday we are joining workers and community organizers at the Henry M. Jackson Federal building in downtown Seattle to protest the fascist billionaire takeover of our democracy. We look forward to seeing you on Friday at 11:30.”
Another organization, Troublemakers, was linked to the violent protests and articulated their rationale, stating, “We cannot remain passive while racial capitalism and neocolonialism ravage this beautiful planet, solely for the advantage of a select few.”
In response to these outrageous remarks and the surge of anti-Tesla violence, House Speaker Mike Johnson remarked, “The courageous efforts of @elonmusk have so alarmed the radical Left that they are now labeling him ‘racist’ (?!) and resorting to domestic terrorism to target Tesla owners and their vehicles!”
As previously reported, the Department of Justice issued a letter detailing how the attorney general intends to penalize these violent protestors. The letter stated, “Attorney General Pamela Bondi announced charges against three individuals accountable for the violent destruction of Tesla properties. All three defendants will confront the full extent of the law for employing Molotov cocktails to ignite Tesla cars and charging stations.”
The letter cited Bondi and reaffirmed her steadfast commitment to bringing this violent mob to justice. She declared, “The era of committing crimes without repercussions has concluded. Let this serve as a warning: if you participate in this wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, the Department of Justice will incarcerate you.”
The three defendants referenced in the letter all utilized firebombs to vandalize Tesla’s property in retaliation for DOGE’s conflict with the deep state. The letter clarifies, “Each defendant faces severe charges with a minimum sentence of five years and a maximum of 20 years in prison. The Department of Justice is dedicated to eradicating all acts of violence and arson aimed at Tesla properties and beyond.
