Doctor who worked with Joe Biden says he had cancer “while president”

Prominent Oncologist Suggests Joe Biden’s Prostate Cancer Was Likely Present Long Before Public Announcement

In a striking revelation yesterday, a leading oncologist who once worked closely with Joe Biden publicly voiced his belief that the former president’s prostate cancer had been developing for years—long before the recent announcement.

On Sunday, Biden’s office confirmed the 82-year-old’s diagnosis of an aggressive prostate cancer that has already spread to his bones. According to the official statement:

“Last week, President Joe Biden was evaluated after experiencing worsening urinary symptoms, leading to the discovery of a prostate nodule.
On Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with bone metastasis.
While this indicates a more aggressive form of the disease, it remains hormone-sensitive, allowing for effective management.”

The diagnosis followed reports of urinary discomfort that prompted doctors to investigate further, ultimately finding a small but concerning prostate lesion.

While many have rallied in support of Biden, a wave of questions and skepticism has surfaced. How could such a serious condition remain undetected amid the rigorous medical screenings a sitting president routinely undergoes?

These doubts have fueled conspiracy theories alleging that Biden’s medical team might have concealed the diagnosis to avoid impacting his 2024 presidential campaign.

Former President Donald Trump quickly fanned these flames, tweeting his initial support but soon casting suspicion:

“I’m surprised the public wasn’t told a long time ago—getting to stage nine doesn’t happen overnight,” Trump wrote.
“Somebody is not telling the facts.”

Trump also seized the moment to revisit concerns over Biden’s mental fitness—an issue that shadowed Biden’s decision to pause his 2024 presidential bid last year.

“To reach this advanced stage takes a long time. It’s the same doctor who said Joe was cognitively fine—well, that’s looking increasingly doubtful,” Trump said.
“There’s information the public wasn’t given, and someone needs to speak with his doctor.”

The controversy doesn’t end there. Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, a former Biden transition team member and architect of the Affordable Care Act, told Morning Joe that Biden’s cancer almost certainly predated his current term.

“He’s likely had this cancer for many years, possibly a decade, silently growing and spreading,” Emanuel said.
“There’s no doubt it was present when he became president in 2021.”

Given the cancer’s spread to the bones, many medical experts agree that the disease must have been developing undetected for a significant time.

One oncologist called it “inconceivable” that such an advanced cancer would evade detection for so long.

Dr. Emanuel also noted that Biden, having been vice president before his presidency, should have undergone regular prostate-specific antigen (PSA) testing—although some doctors recommend against routine screening after age 70.

“It’s surprising it wasn’t done, unless President Biden opted out, which some men do,” Emanuel explained.
“With a Gleason score of 9—on a scale from 2 to 10—the cancer is highly abnormal, aggressive, and that explains why it has spread to his bones.”

As the nation watches closely, let’s keep President Biden in our thoughts and prayers during this challenging time.
